Traditional Thai Massage, known as “nuad Thai,” is an ancient healing system that combines acupressure, Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. This type of massage is typically performed on a floor mat, and the recipient wears loose, comfortable clothing. The therapist uses hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure along the body’s energy lines, or “sen,” and to stretch and bend the body into various positions.
